How delightful! I love the Georgia O'Keefe paintings of this white bloom, but didn't know it carries such a magical and out-of-the-world lineage.

I enjoyed reading about its many uses throughout history, as a medicine for burns, as a hallucinogenic with shamanistic medicine, a cancer drug and other uses.

I didn't know it was the 'Datura' flower, in Georgia O'Keefe's painting.

It does resemble the Moon flower, that I've grown in my garden, in Florida.
