Thank you, Juliana.

I can state, personally and unequivocally, that I am preparing for the communion with the luminaries, and that I grow intensely weary of the antispiritual nature of this cycle.

However, I am curious as to your thoughts, because my sensibility is that this Sirius gateway has a profound effect on the new Aeon, the new cycle, or yuga which is now beginning to take shape.

Perhaps I am grasping at straws, but I recall the Sothic cycle spanned some 1,400 years, and thus, similar to the yugas, we are referring to great periods of time. Thus, I am not suggesting that a new cycle arrives tomorrow, only that its shape is beginning to be felt.

I am not demanding that my intuition be agreed with, only wondering if your investigations have ever raised this question.

Hi Mike. Thanks for your comment and feedback. I follow Sri Yukteswar’s yuga system (as described in his book the Holy Science) which places us in Dvapara Yuga now. The Sat Yuga (the highest Age of Truth) is not for some 5700 more years. We are in the Kali sub-Yuga for another 100 years or so. The good news is that individuals can evolve beyond the yugas through doing sadhana/ spiritual practice, even though the world as a whole will be lagging behind. 🙏💕

Cycles within cycles, yes of course.

Lagging behind?

A feature of existence.

Thank you, Juliana.

I am glad to hear that you are studying Vedic astrology, dear Priya, and happy to know my posts are useful. I am a Neo-Vedic astrologer, so some of what I share is not in the classical Jyotish teachings (so I hope not to confuse you!). The late Jyotishi and my friend Bill Levacy wrote a wonderful article several years ago about Jyotish Mati Pragya, the Star-Illumined Mind. In the introduction he said, "Jyotish is a technique for the development of consciousness. The Jyotishi, or Vedic astrologer, is essentially a master of light. He works from the deep levels of inner awareness to fathom the consequences and potentials of time to aid the behavior of the client. As the Jyotishi works in the light of chart interpretation, his mind become filled with light accordingly. As such, the brilliance of the mind of the astrologer gets progressively more alert, less distracted, and increases in its capacity to know the truth and the passages of time in the past, present and future. In its highest level of development the awareness of the astrologer becomes the star illumined mind, known as Jyotish Mati Pragya." So, I am sure that your studies will be very beneficial and enriching for you on many levels!

I’m going to remember that, Juliana. Thank you for sharing it with me. I’ve been teaching myself astrology for a few years, but this is my first formal learning. You become aware of the importance of time even as you try to grasp timelessness.
