Welcome to my November 2024 Vedic astrology calendar!

I hope that you've been having a peaceful autumn so far (or spring in the southern hemisphere!). As we move deeper into this season, the cosmos will be going through some very dramatic changes. Venus will be under extreme pressure. There will also be a super-powerful Full Moon on November 15, followed by an extremely rare New Moon at the end of the month.

NASA and NOAA have announced that the Sun has officially reached Solar Maximum, the peak of its 11-year cycle. Some research suggests that this increased solar activity can impact human health and behavior. Additionally, there are other effects to be aware of, as discussed in this recent Earthsky.org article: Sun officially reaches solar maximum in its 11-year cycle.

I enjoyed Beth Kempton’s recent SoulStack article titled The song of the ancient moon: On viewing life through the lens of our own mortality. There are so many profound truths in her beautiful heartfelt writing.
