June 2024 Astrology Calendar

Welcome to my June 2024 Vedic astrology calendar!

We will begin the month of June with a series of intense transits. Later in the month we will experience the magical solstice, followed the next day by the potent full Moon occurring in alignment with the Galactic Center. Toward the end of the month, Saturn will begin its four-and-a-half month retrograde cycle. Astral Reads for the Month

I recently enjoyed reading Your Soul's Journey: Jyotisa Fundamentals (The Journey) by Vijayalakshmi Natarajan. This is one of the best Vedic astrology books I have ever read! If you love Vedic astrology, or just want to learn more, you will want to check out this treasure. 

I'm currently reading 2084: Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Humanity by John Lennox. If you're worried about AI and the future, this book can change your mind and bring you some hope and comfort. 

Recent Bedroom by Chloe Margherita has a fascinating new post about the fixed star Fomalhaut. I am partial to this article because my natal Sun is exactly conjoined this mysterious star! Even though the author and I use different zodiac calculations (she uses the tropical coordinates, while I use the sidereal ones), I enjoyed this piece and have appreciated her other in-depth articles on the fixed stars. 

I'm happy to recommend The Barefoot Vedic Astrologer, a wonderful addition to our small (but growing) Vedic astrology community on Substack!

Please note that this and all my other forecasts are based on the sidereal zodiac used in both Vedic and Western sidereal astrology, not the tropical system used by most Western and a small number of Vedic astrologers. All the astrological charts that I work with and share are calculated according to the sidereal zodiac and Lahiri Ayanamsa.
