Thanks for your feedback, Cally. Mars is indeed the main culprit here. He is debilitated, retrograde, opposite transiting Pluto and the United States Pluto, and OOB (what we would call in very bad shape). This is problematical as I wrote in a multitude of my reports for disasters, violence, danger, attacks, and economic woes, etc. Mars is the ruler of 2025 which I also wrote about, and he is also transiting in the 8th house of turmoil, crisis, death and disease in the United States chart now.
Also the winter solstice chart analysis I did in my 2025 forecast report for paid subscribers pointed out that the Earth and its people will have an extremely difficult tumultuous year in 2025 as Uranus was poised at 29 degrees Aries (ruled by Mars) and conjunct the IC of the world chart. This also suggests potential for a horrific event or events that will be eye-opening and life-changing for many.
The Pisces stellium in the March Solar Eclipse Vedic New Year chart is extremely intense and quite rare. I searched back 3000 years and could not find a previous occurrence with which to compare it. This astrological event suggests unprecedented conditions like we are seeing in LA now.
My Jan. 2025 report mentioned potential fires, terror attacks, financial crisis, human-caused and natural disasters.
Also my note (posted in Substack Notes) this past Monday suggested incendiary events due to Mercury transiting in the fiery Galactic Center in square to the nodes and Neptune and in a 6/8 quincunx with Mars.
The two Los Angeles birth charts I use also reveal the significance of transiting Mars in alignment with the most important angles of the charts. One of my sons lives on the outer edge of Palisades, and so we are very concerned for him and his family and for all the millions of people and animals in harm's way. My prayers are very focused there right now. I am aware that the danger is not over and there are obviously many more challenges ahead.

Yes the lunar standstill is in place in 2024-25 and is most intense from this past Sept., and will peak in March this year. The cycle is an 18.6 year cycle. It means that the Moon -- when it goes OOB regularly -- is going farther than usual, and my take on it is that it means many people have extreme emotional reactions and we see more dramatic events than usual.
In mundane astrology, the OOB Moon during lunar standstill can suggest volatile conditions in sociopolitical matters, heightened criminality, bizarre and antisocial behavior, and also major issues with the economy and real estate/insurance/property issues.
The Moon was OOB from Dec. 28 to Jan. 2 and will be again from Jan. 10-15, and from Jan. 26-27, Feb. 8-9, etc. It was not OOB this past week but it is starting today.
yes I am aware of 18.6 year moon cycle and it's effect on markets etc , in fact I have written about this before because I have a theory of my own that the Egyptians based their art and architecture (which is on a 18/19 grid) on that moon cycle - I have covered it in this article https://callystarforth.substack.com/p/squaring-the-circle
