Such wisdom, perspective and compassion in Juliana's post. I am currently in a Saturn dasha and I have a Cancer ascendant. For a variety of reasons the Saturn Dasha is said to be very difficult for Cancer charts. Now I'm not saying this time period has been a walk in the park but all of the planets have gifts/strengths to impart and Saturn is certainly no exception. As Juliana has pointed out, it is important to work WITH Saturn's energy. I would bet that a consultation with Juliana could provide some very useful insights to "Stuck" in working with the energies of Saturn and not just dreading this time period.
Thank you, dear Terry, for your kind feedback and wisdom! It means a lot coming from your depth of knowledge and experience! I love Saturn. He is my exalted AK in 12H. I saw a lot of suffering and death among my family and in my work as an RN during my Saturn Mahadasa. But many great things also happened! Same with my current Sade Sati. The good goes with the bad on this earth plane. Saturn is a realist. Ultimately, he just wants us to wake up to the highest Truth that we are in the Earth school but this is not our true home. 💙🪐💜
Periods of ongoing change by going in deep... When I saw Saturn with Rahu in pisces in my seventh house in the birth chart I received knowledge I could not really grasp. Humility is a great gift from Saturn ☺️ not easy, but getting better by ripening 🙏 heart warm post ♥️
I really like your articles! You have an excellent approach to the meaning in a chart, a non-fatalistic perspective, emphasizing what can be worked on. Yours is the first Substack post I read.
I love and find very profound Juliana's statement: ". . .Saturn is a realist. Ultimately he just wants us to wake up to the highest truth we are in the Earth School but this is not our true home". Very "lucky" for me that I am a realist!
Your advice really resonated with me, Juliana. As I’ve gotten older, I tell myself to watch for the stories that emerge at the beginnings of transits and to let them really soak in. And when it feels like there is a little clarity, to take small actions.
This is wonderful, compassionate advice, Juliana. I wonder if this querent might also benefit from doing some Saturn upaya (focused remedial work). I wrote this piece some time ago detailing some of my experiences working with Saturn in this way during my own sadhe sati period, which continues. In case it resonates -- https://seedsfromtheworldtree.substack.com/p/saturdays-with-kronos
Thanks for sharing your link. There are many upayas for Sade Sati and Shani, and as a long-time Jyotishi I have worked with many of them for myself and my clients, but it depends on one's unique astral blueprint as to which will be the best to use. In other words, there is no substitute for having a specific professional reading of a natal and progressed horoscope when it comes to finding the correct remedy or remedies. This is actually my favorite area of Vedic astrology practice--as I am first and foremost a healer! Again, thanks so much!
