I am enjoying reading about the fixed stars in your posts...and the added insights they bring.
I should have read this before May 28th when I lost my head and gave particularly harsh feedback to a friend when he asked... I was going to be quiet since I was triggered but he asked so I cut him up... (I have Venus 4 and 11th lord in 3 degrees of Algo/Krittika...) I felt justified and self-righteous until the 31st when I began to realize that even tho I was "right" my unkindness was wrong so I apologized. His response was that I was totally on target and he appreciated the lesson...even still, I lost my head and reacted with irritation from my activated gut and liver...and had to eat humble pie....Seems to be what you are describing here. /\ /\ /\
Thanks Suan for sharing your story...sounds right on r/t Algol and losing one's head and how that can seem justified but at the same time the unkindness and anger feel wrong. The mythology about Medusa is very enlightening if you want to read up to understand the deeper nuances related to Algol. Medusa was a victim of rape, some say, and then was punished for it and turned into a monster. Others say she was a willing participant. Either way, Algol represents emotional passion and intensity especially when it is with Venus, and it brings up a lot of victim-perpetrator themes and points out the destructive nature of righteous anger (as well as jumping to conclusions and jealousy in some instances, as well). BTW, it is interesting and timely that Johnny Depp's natal Venus and Mercury are close to Algol, and you won't believe it, but so is Amber Heard's. That says it all!
