I'm definitely holding my breath until mid-May. I have several significant events in progress right now and hope everything goes okay. I'm selling my house (due to close April 28), buying a house (due to close April 19, but could be sooner) and driving with my daughter and two cats from Texas to NY between April 28 and probably April 30, or whenever we get there. I'm trying to maintain an optimistic attitude but I must say all this going on with Mercury RX is definitely a huge concern. I'm hoping the fact these things were initiated before Mercury stations helps. Major mundane events could obviously intervene, too. To say I'm pretty nervous and trying not to obsess on it is a bit of an understatement. LOL.

Sending good vibes dear Marcha. Just do your best to pick good muhurtas for the exact timing on the days of these events.

Thanks! I'm not sure how much the exact timing will be within my control but I'll certainly try!

Good Morning!

Thank you so much for your knowledgeable insight about the upcoming solar eclipse and the stellium of planets in Aries. I've never heard of the Akshaya Tritiya and I'm excited to know about this special day! Thank you!

Btw, can you please tell me if there's a Point of Manifestation in Leo during this time, and if so, can you please talk about that?

Thank you again for insights. Sincerely, Angela Leigh

Thanks Angela for your message. I wrote about what I named a "point of manifestation" in Leo some time ago, and I notice some other astrologers picked that up and are sharing it. What I meant by this is that once Jupiter enters Aries, it will aspect Leo while at the same time Saturn is aspecting Leo. This is called the Double Transit Phenomenon of Saturn and Jupiter (as described by the great Jyotishi K.N. Rao). Saturn is the karma planet of power, effort, action, and manifestation. It "prepares the ground and plants the field." Jupiter is the dharma planet of purpose, grace, wisdom, abundance, and opportunity. Jupiter comes and sprinkles Ganga Jal (Divine Mother blessings) on what it is aspecting to make it grow. Jupiter and Saturn are also simultaneously aspecting Aries in 2023. And in 2023, Mercury will retrograde in Leo and Aries, also, which means it will be in each of these signs for an extra-long transit of nine weeks, clearing out old and bringing new energies in. This makes these signs what I named "points of manifestation." The most important thing to consider is what houses these signs occupy in an astrological chart, to understand what will occur. And of course I am talking about the sidereal zodiac here, not the tropical one.

Thank you so much for your detailed reply! I haven't heard any astrologers talking about the point of manifestation in Leo actually. I'm so happy to receive your detailed description about it! Thank you many times! I'm sure that Mercury retrograding in the fiery signs of Aries and Leo this year is significant.

Have a wonderful Saturday! Angela

Hi Angela, thanks again for writing. I wrote about Mercury retrograding in fire signs back in December: "Mercury in fire signs can be creative, courageous, enthusiastic, optimistic, aspiring, future-oriented, freedom-loving, and thirsty for knowledge and experience. In its lower expression, it can also be impulsive, impatient, overconfident, demanding, unrealistic, fervent, agitated, or stressed out. Since Mercury will be retrograding (and thus spending a lot of time) in the fire signs throughout 2023, these qualities will be intensely emphasized in the... areas that Mercury governs.. With Mercury retrograding in fire signs in 2023, it’s time to “think big” as we seek new perspectives and understanding that can lead to innovative solutions to our problems. In 2023, many people will be up for travel, learning, adventure, and exploration. We will see new trends in education, the travel industry, and in technology and communication, including significant changes in the areas of news and social media, global trade, e-Commerce/Web development, digital currencies, and blockchain innovation." But of course the house position of Mercury in fire signs and aspects it makes are also super important: https://astralharmony.substack.com/p/mercury-retrograde-a-slow-start-to?utm_source=profile&utm_medium=reader2

Thank you, Juliana. Your reports are the best!

My Venus is 5'19' Aries in 9th house so will be conjunct the Sun/Moon Eclipse. I'm guessing this is positive since it's Venus and the 9th house? Any tips for how to take advantage of this? Many thanks.

(Also Sun 8th, Moon/Merc/Ketu 7th, Jup/Sat 6th, Mars 11th)

Generally an eclipse to Venus has some positive ramifications, but also you have to consider that Venus is a temporal malefic for your chart as it rules the third house, and also because it rules the 10th house, it can lose some of its ability to help (according to the Parashara rule). So it's complicated. I also don't advocate taking one item and making a prognostication or pronouncement on that without a full chart analysis. You have to consider all the other transits, the thrust of the entire chart, desha-kala-patra, multiple dashas and transits, etc. Thanks and all the best to you, Marni!

Thank you, I appreciate your taking the time. Have a wonderful day. I am teaching myself vedic astrology and your blog helps me a lot. I am a few years into my Venus dasha so will look into this further to see if it enhances the eclipse for me.
