Wow! Look forward to starting something special. Jan 25. 26 (in Asia) are 4th and 5th waxing moon phase of First Month of Rabbit Year. We have public holiday till then. Those 2 days mark the arrival of the wealth deities back from Heaven, after their temporary visit at year end to file their report on human affairs. Hence, both days are considered very auspicious, esp for financial undertakings and beginning work after Chinese New Year.

Goddes Mathangi, the tithi Deity of Shukla Paksha Panchami, is a celebration, in the traditional Shri Chakra worship.

Good for all kind of learning and to start new endeavors.

In the Narada Purana, Gouri is the devi of the fifth panchami tithi in the shukla paksha. It's also associated with Lakshmi and Vahnivasini/Vahni ("One dwelling in the fire") who is a goddess full of light and creative power. The Nagas are also lords over this tithi, and they are full of creative skill. But Vahni is one of the names of Devi Saraswati who rules over all creativity and learning and wisdom.
