Thank you Juliana! What an in-depth and intense forecast! So good to know in advance. The eclipse runs through my mother's home town two days after her 85th birthday. They've already had tornadoes, and I don't expect that that will be the end of it. Will keep working on managing my own equanimity, keeping close to nature and nurturing the divine spark in my heart.

How heart-warming this is, thanks Liz: "Will keep working on managing my own equanimity, keeping close to nature, and nurturing the divine spark in my heart." I cannot think of anything better! Sending love and prayers for you and your family in Ohio too!

And funny how Krodhi "sounds" grody (at least in my mind)!

Juliana, better to be informed and aware! Love your analysis and find it very helpful. And, we can have it the easy way or the hard way…. what are the aspects of the divine plan recognized through Jyotish, is valuable. I’ll put special emphasis on the blessings of Mother Divine, during Navaratri this year, as you pointed out. Being in Texas, I was concerned about the eclipse, as the last one in 2017, brought terrific flooding via Hurricane Harvey. Thanks for your work and for posting it!

Thanks, dear Carol. I appreciate your kindness and your wise and hopeful feedback. I think the two solar eclipse lines from Oct. 2023/April 24 converging on the southern border of TX speak for themselves as to the eclipse impact. Many blessings and thanks for your support and Divine friendship.

Thank you for this in-depth analysis, however dark the forecast may be. // It's interesting to note the parallels between Vedic and East Asian (Chinese) systems of astrology - China's calendar is similarly based on cycles of 60, expressed via combinations of the 12 earthly branches (zodiac animals) and 5 phases (elements).

Greetings, Jonathan, and thanks for your kind feedback and for mentioning the parallels between Vedic and East Indian cycles. Re: the "dark forecast," I recently mentioned to a Jyotish friend that I hesitated to even share this report, and he replied by quoting his guru Hart de Fouw, who once told him that "Sometimes, Jyotish has teeth." That statement was reassuring to me as I took it to mean that the force of wisdom and logic behind Jyotish makes it something to be respected and reckoned with philosophically. Also, I do try (and sometimes fail) to express my analysis in terms of possibilities rather than absolutes, since nothing is certain in any forecasting methods, and whatever is prognosticated could manifest in a variety of different ways. So anyway, I am happy to meet you here, and thank you again!

I love that quote from Hart (who is my teacher's teacher). And I think that with these collective forecasts, as with individual readings, there can be a sense of relief in having something felt be named explicitly. I think we all feel that there are storm clouds building over the US, and a jyotishi wouldn't have her fingers on the pulse of reality if her forecast didn't reflect that. Plus, understanding the situation ultimately empowers us to respond appropriately and realistically. All to say, dark forecasts are necessary sometimes. Thanks again. Good to meet you, too!

Have you seen or come across a time in the near future (5-8yrs or sooner) where we will be on the other side of all this chaos and darkness?

Hi Winston, the United States is in the 18-year Rahu Dasha from 2015 until 2033. Possibly after that there would be some slight improvements. Rahu is an extremely tough cycle for the United States, and the rest of the world is also affected by what happens here to a large extent. Rahu (the graha that rules disruption and upheaval) in the United States chart is in Cancer (issues with security, the people, the homeland) and in the poisonous nakshatra known as Ashlesha in the 8th house (where we have to face trials and tribulations), so it brings forth what we are seeing with societal disintegration, cultural upheaval, enemies within and without, extreme divisiveness, poverty and a struggle for resources, wars, financial crises/massive burgeoning debt and our nefarious fiat money system (our #1 problem I think), political battles, crime, totalitarianism, brainwashing the masses through propaganda in the media, an epidemic of mental illness and addiction, poor quality of health and lack of fitness among the majority of people, chronic overuse of pharmaceutical medications, and unthinkable corruption and immorality. Swami Sri Yukteswar wrote about his alternate Yuga system in a book called The Holy Science in which he described that we are in the Dvapara Yuga, Age of Energy and Technology now, and then the beautiful Golden Age known as Sat Yuga, Age of Truth and Peace, will occur in about 5000 years if humanity survives that long. David Frawley calculates that we are in the Kali sub-cycle of Dvapara Yuga for another 100 years. The good thing is that each of us has access to spiritual resources that can help us rise above the mire of this suffering, and to defeat the planets and outwit the stars, as Sri Yukteswar said. Many great teachers have taught that even if humanity is not evolving higher or in the Golden Age for some time, each of us as individuals can strive in that direction through our spiritual efforts and through positive living. Yogananda often said that we should not expect this world to be heaven as that is not the point of it, and that it is not our true home. This world of duality is like a school where we have to come up against and learn through the tough stuff and it helps us grow. So don't give up hope and stay focused on the inner path, and share your beautiful love and light to help uplift others when you can, and hopefully with our thoughts we can make the world a better place.

Thanks Juliana! Do you have any idea if there's areas or countries that will be less affected by USAs Rahu Dasha?

Perhaps some places in the southern hemisphere, but I personally know of no place that is free from the potential for natural or human-made disasters on this planet and especially in the current Dvapara Yuga/Kali sub-yuga, and as long as the US dollar remains the dominant world reserve currency and continues its fiat scam. One of the issues on this planet now is related to overpopulation which puts a lot of pressure on finite resources (food, water, and energy). Gurdjieff said that when human consciousness is dim, the population rises (they are in an inverse proportion). So there's that dilemma too. All that said, sometimes when I do consultations with clients, I do Astrolocality readings to help them find a more suitable place to live.

I’ll keep that in mind! If you don’t mind telling me price of consultation? Thanks!
