This Week's Heightened Solar Activity
How It Influences and is Influenced by Human Behavior and Consciousness
As we wind down these last few days of the old Vedic lunar year and prepare to enter the new one on Friday (April 1), the Sun is giving quite a show! Yesterday (March 30), a sunspot hurled a humongous X-class solar flare into space. This event caused a shortwave radio blackout across the Earth. Since Monday, March 28, there have been at least 17 flares from one single hyperactive sunspot (AR2975), and NASA has noted seven groups of active sunspots currently across the face of the Sun.
Two or possibly three CMEs (Coronal Mass Ejections) are headed our way today and tomorrow (Thursday and Friday). And at least two are merging into one larger “Cannibal CME.” As a result of all this, the Aurora/Northern Lights are predicted to be visible much further south than usual.
Solar storms are known to have a direct impact on human and animal behavior as we are all are a part of one magnetic energy field surrounding the Earth. Especially sensitive people may have felt the effects of this solar activity beginning yesterday, with symptoms ranging from feeling generally unwell (“out of it”) to “crawling skin” (formication), mood swings, mild headaches, anxiety, palpitations, confused thoughts, irritability, and insomnia. I have also seen positive effects from this kind of solar intensity, including remarkable visions, spiritual insights, and heightened intuition that lead to quick solutions and resolutions for various kinds of problems.
A deeper view was suggested by the late “sleeping prophet” Edgar Cayce in 1940, who said that sunspots and solar outbursts are a response to conditions on Earth: “The more ye become aware of thy relationships to the universe and those influences that control same, the greater thy ability to help...even as to the Sun which reflects those turmoils that arise with thee; even as the earthquake, even as wars and hates, even as the influences in thy life day by day. Then, what are the sunspots? A natural consequence of that turmoil which the sons [and daughters] of God in the earth reflect upon same.” Edgar Cayce Reading 5757-1
The message is clear: “As above; so below. As within; so without. As with the universe; so with the soul.” (Hermes Trismegistus)

I do find I am quite sensitive to these solar events. Just yesterday I felt my crawly skin, some mild anxiety, and a headache while sleeping last night. I always appreciate the astrological weather report. 😉 So grateful for my practice of meditation, Dinacharya, nature walks and cooling herbs. Always so interesting. Always following the wisdom.
Self-care and awareness are the key to surviving this wild and crazy world! Thank you so much, Marcy.
