It’s time to prepare for the last Mercury retrograde cycle of the year, which will take place from November 25 to December 15! As a special thank you to my paying subscribers, I am providing an in-depth analysis of this important retrograde cycle for each sign. Before I get into the personalized analysis, I will briefly explain the general features of this transit.
Mercury Moves Through Scorpio
Mercury entered Scorpio on October 29, 2024. It will remain in this sign until January 4, 2025. This is a much lengthier transit than is typical due to Mercury’s retrograde period in November and December.
Classically, according to Vedic astrology, Mercury in the enemy sign of Scorpio tends to amplify anger, grief, and troubles. Knowing that this transit is in place, we can attempt to mitigate any potential difficulties by cultivating calm, positivity, patience, and tact.
Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio
Mercury will be retrograde from November 25 to December 15.
Mercury retrograde periods are well known for all manner of disruptions, delays, and changes in our lives. On a more positive note, these cycles can help us to deepen our understanding of ourselves and of others.
Mercury is the Messenger who is said to be traveling in the Underworld during his retrograde cycle. During this time, he can help us access our deeper unconscious mind and solve problems in surprising ways. New awareness can be brought to light to help us overcome perceived limitations.
This is also a wonderful time to catch up, regroup, and reorganize; to step back, reflect, and reconsider where we have come and where we are going.
Saturn in Aquarius and Jupiter in Taurus Will Aspect Mercury in Scorpio
During Mercury’s transit in Scorpio, it will be opposed by transiting Jupiter in Taurus. It will also be squared by transiting Saturn in Aquarius. These aspects can indicate pessimism, strife, contention, and violence. On a positive note, they may activate a shift in focus and vision that can lead to positive changes.
